Rhinoplasty, otherwise known as nose plastic surgery and can also be referred to as a nose job, is a common cosmetic procedure these days. Correction of a deviated septum otherwise known as a septoplasty is also becoming more and more common.

Some people are unhappy with the nose they were born with, others are unhappy with the way their nose has changed with their age. In either case, rhinoplasty Beverly Hills is a procedure that can simultaneously correct the function and improve the appearance of the nose as well. Even a slight alteration to the nose can help with one’s appearance to their nose. In many cases a rhinotplasty can lead to many people feeling more self-confident and improving their overall look.

A septoplasty corrects the deviated septum and to help one’s breathing. The septum and the nasal structures that are obstructing the breathing are corrected and to improve the breathing and to straighten the nasal deviations. After the procedure is completed the skin will readjust itself over what has become the newly contoured bone and cartilage. During both of these procedures the patient is put under general anesthesia. The patient will stay a few hours in the recovery room and will be able to go home that day. Once you arrive home you suggested to walk around and it is very important to keep the head elevated at all times. The recovery time for a rhinoplasty and septoplasty will be one week to ten days. There must not be any strenuous activity for at least four to six weeks following this LA plastic surgery.

Liposuction is the most popular cosmetic surgery in America today. . These attempts at weight loss tend to be frustrating at the least. Liposuction can be a solution.

Liposuction can improve or remove fat from the arms, abdomen, neck, waistline known as love handles or flank area, outer and inner thighs, and the knee area. Many men and women schedule a consultation prior to the surgery. At this time they will meet directly with the doctor who will do the procedure. The two of you will discuss previous surgeries, current health, and the goals you wish to achieve. Beverly Hills lipo can be performed with local anesthesia. The total length of the surgery can be one to three hours. After surgery you will have to have someone drive you home from the surgery center and stay with you that night. If you don’t have someone that can drive you home or stay with you we have many different options from you to choose from. Whether it you choose a nurse to come stay with you at your hotel or home, or a healing retreat located in a hotel.

Following surgery your plastic surgeon Beverly Hills will put a dressing on you to help with the swelling. You will be advised to leave this on until you meet with the doctor, usually three to five days following your surgery. It is normal following surgery that you are swollen and there may be bruising. The swelling and bruising will subside in two to four weeks. You may return to work a week after surgery. Most patients who go forth with liposuction can return to strenuous activity two to four weeks after surgery. A full recovery from the surgery will take between four months to a year after surgery.

Both men and women are affected by weight gain and many of them tend to hold on to the fat around their abdominal area. If diet and exercise is simply not enough to make this area go away or you need a little headstart to jump start a diet and exercise routine, then plastic surgery may be just what you are looking for! When people are heavy and go on to lose a lot of weight, it is common that they have loose, hanging skin. The only way to get rid of this excess fat and skin is through surgical intervention. A tummy tuck procedure can be the solution to this embarrassing problem. Understand that sometimes these problems cannot be corrected with simple liposuction in California.

This surgical procedure is also commonly performed on women after they have had their children because their abdominal skin has been stretched passed the point of elasticity. It is a great way to get that taut tummy you have always wanted or once had. The surgeon permanently removes the excess fat and skin by cutting out a football shaped piece of skin from your stomach and goes on to braid the stomach muscles. This gives your stomach a smooth, flat effect. Your exccss fat and skin will no longer bulge out of the sides of your pants or hang over your skirt. Many patients find that they have increased energy and a boost of self confidence after they undergo an abdominoplasty procedure. If you or someone you know is affected and embarrassed by a hanging abdomen, then call a surgeon today about your tummy tuck in California!

Once you go home from your outpatient cosmetic surgical procedure, we ask that you take it easy for a few days. For most procedures, we have you take about a week or so off before returning to work, however, there are different restrictions that come hand in hand with each procedure. Although recovery from a rhinoplasty procedure is usually a smooth and quick recovery, there are some guidelines that we ask all patients to follow to ensure the best result. Some of these recovery guidelines include keeping the nasal dressings dry. You will want to take tub baths as opposed to showers, and not wash your hair unless you have someone do it for you for about a week or so. You will see your Doctor for appropriate follow up visits and he/she will let you know when it is okay to shower. You will want to stay out of the sun for a few weeks post surgery because the heat can lead to swelling. Know that there might be some discoloration and swelling for a week or so after surgery as well. You will be able to wear contacts 2-3 days after surgery, but you cannot wear sunglasses or glasses that rest on the bridge of your nose for an additional few weeks after your procedure done by a Southern California cosmetic surgery specialist.

It is important to avoid foods that require prolonged chewing, obtain more rest that usual, and not blow your nose. Many people return to work a few days later, however, even if you are feeling up to going back to work then, you may not drive if you are using the prescribed narcotics given to you for pain control. A nose procedure can be a wonderful, life changing operation that puts the nose in proportion to the rest of your face. You can wave goodbye to unflattering bumps, absence of a slope, a bulbous tip or a wide bridge, and say hello to a beautiful new you! The recovery process is quick and should never deter anyone from pursuing their plastic surgery goals. Before going forward you should understand Beverly Hills rhinoplasty cost.

Today’s society puts added pressure on both men and women alike, when it comes to looking your best. Often times, people find that there are certain areas of their body that tend to store stubborn fatty deposits that are difficult to get rid of. Diet and exercise alone may not be enough to eliminate this unwanted fat, and liposuction may be the answer that you are looking for. Liposuction is a common outpatient procedure performed by a plastic or cosmetic surgeon. This procedure is wonderful at eliminating the fat as well as putting your body in proportion for the rest of your life. If you body likes to hold fat along your midsection, or if you have always been plagued by thunder thighs or a double chin, then this is the only procedure that will allow you to streamline your body. This is not to say that you will not be able to gain weight in those areas again, however, if you do gain weight, it will distribute evenly among your entire body instead of culminating in your stubborn, hard to lose areas. There are few restrictions post operation, and many people return to work a few days to a week or so after the procedure. If liposuction or liposculpture is something that you would like more information about, then do not hesitate to call a Plastic Surgeon’s office today to schedule your initial consultation for Southern California cosmetic surgery!

If you are considering Beverly Hills plastic surgery, there are a few important aspects of the surgery, aside from the procedure itself, that you should be sure to cover with your Surgeon during your initial consultation. Most procedures are done on an outpatient basis and you go home that very same day. It is important to note that although you are rarely on bedrest following these procedures, there are some restrictions as well as a recovery period before returning to work and regular everyday activities. For more procedures, your Surgeon will instruct you to take a week or so off before returning to work. Many patients who do not have physically demanding jobs chose to return a few days prior to that week mark, and some people also chose to take a few additional days to recover. You are not allowed to drive to and from work if you are using the narcotics, so many patients chose to forgo the narcotics and take over the counter pain medication after surgery. You will not want to do any heavy lifting, any activities that may shake or stretch the area that was worked on (in terms of liposuction as well as breast augmentation) and you will want to take it easy in general and not over exert yourself. It is important to see your Surgeon for your scheduled follow up appointments so that he may monitor you progress and healing. In certain cases, the Doctor may recommend creams, tapes, etc. to minimize the appearance of any surgical scars, so be sure to make your appointments and reschedule if you are unable to make the scheduled time.

An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck procedure, is a common surgical procedure that many people have done to flatten their tummy and remove the excess bulge. Often times, diet and exercise alone is not enough to get rid of unwanted fat and overstretched skin. Once the skin has been stretched past the point of elasticity, it can never bounce back and leaves embarrassing stretchmarks in its wake. A Los Angeles Tummy Tuck is the answer to your prayers! This procedure involves removing a football shaped piece of skin from the abdomen area, and then braiding or stitching the abdominal muscles. From there, the Surgeon will suture the two sides together, leaving you a flat and toned stomach. Many women report a new lease on life and are thrilled with their post operative results!

More and more men are turning to cosmetic and plastic surgery in today’s image centric society. Many men report looking younger and having more self confidence after undergoing various procedures. Although men are candidates for many of the same procedures that women have performed, there are certain special and different considerations that must be taken into consideration when performing male plastic surgery. It is important for men to keep their masculine features in tact, thus making it even more so imperative to find a plastic surgeon who specializes in male procedures. Other differentiating factors are that men have thicker muscles, scarring (since most men do not wear make up to cover said scars) as well as varying chemical reactions. Popular procedures include neck lifts, gynecomastia, otherwise known as a male chest reduction, pectoral and calf implants as well as facelifts and noninvasive procedures such as Botox and dermal fillers.
